Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Jonathan Fox, began making records out of his apartment during his final year at the University of Texas in Austin. Tracking amps out of bathrooms and closets on an 8-channel recording package that he saved up for with a local tech job, Fox wasted no time educating himself on recording principles and quickly released a full-length solo record while finishing his senior year. Pulling from all manners of rock and southern music, and drifting between multiple individual projects over the past decade, as well as a couple records with the Jonathan Fox Band, Fox has been described as "a rare talent, one that's able to work a variety of styles in a manner that's self-assured and charismatic." by The Austin Chronicle. His record Loverlust, released in the summer of 2016 with the Jonathan Fox Band, was quoted as "one of the best records from an Austin artist in 2016" by ListenHere Reviews, was included on ATX Radio KLBJ FM's Best Local Licks of 2016, as well as Austin.com's Most Loved Music of 2016. Currently, Fox is developing a new solo project with plans to released new music in 2018, and continues to perform regularly across Texas.
